When you take a song and rearrange it as an a cappella choir performance, the audience no longer hears the chord changes from the original instruments on the track – but instead the groove and harmonic changes all come from the blend of our voices.
You will begin to realise how effective the voice can be, especially when we have the luxury of singing together to create something truly magical.
Imagine your voice as an instrument, as if you were one player in an orchestra. The art of listening to what is going on musically around you becomes more important than at any other time.
As you are conducted, you will use your instrument, your voice, to physically react to musical instruction.
