Brighton Singing Lessons
Well, it depends on the severity of your vocal fatigue. Certainly all speech therapists comment on the need to stay hydrated at all times and I have to say that ice cold water is a big no-no in terms of your voice.
So, if all the advice about vocal health is: avoid tea, avoid coffee and sugary drinks – what is there left to drink?!
Well, I have been drinking a good old fashioned cup of hot water mixed with cold and although at first a little boring, I now love it!
If you want to get some gentle herbs like chamomile this will add a little taste, yet having no ‘bad stuff’ will only help you with your vocal health.
If of course, you have been screaming at a gig or club and feel some vocal fatigue, then just a cup of hot water is not going to change things, some good singing lessons
and techniques are needed here – before damage is done.
